Shifty Shellshock, the Voice of Crazy Town's "Butterfly," Passes Away at 49
The music world is mourning the loss of Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of rap-rock band Crazy Town. Shellshock, whose real name was Seth Binzer, died on Monday, June 24th, at his Los Angeles home at the age of 49. News of his passing came from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. 
 

An official cause of death has not yet been released. Shifty Shellshock co-founded Crazy Town in the 1990s alongside Bret "Epic" Mazur. The band achieved mainstream success with their 2000 hit "Butterfly," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became a staple of the early 2000s.

 



 The song was featured in the film "Orange County" and remains one of Crazy Town's most recognizable tracks. Shifty Shellshock's vocals were a key ingredient in Crazy Town's unique blend of rap and rock. His distinctive delivery and stage presence helped propel the band to popularity. 
 




 Beyond music, Shifty Shellshock also appeared on reality television shows. Shifty Shellshock's death is a loss for the music industry. His contributions to Crazy Town's success will not be forgotten. Tributes are already pouring in from fans and fellow musicians alike.
