FINAL: Indiana Fever take down Washington Mystics, Caitlin Clark posts double-double

Fever Strike Hot, Top Mystics 88-81 as Clark Notches Double-Double The Indiana Fever continued their climb up the WNBA standings with a hard-fought 88-81 victory over the Washington Mystics on Wednesday night. Rookie phenom Caitlin Clark was a force to be reckoned with, registering a double-double of 18 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.

Clark wasn't a one-woman show, though. Veterans Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston provided a scoring punch, each putting up 22 points for the Fever. The win marks Indiana's third straight victory, their longest winning streak since 2015.

The Fever got off to a hot start, shooting a sizzling 55% from the field. Clark, Mitchell, and Boston were all dialed in offensively in the first half, keeping Indiana in control. The Mystics battled back in the second half, but the Fever held on for the crucial win. This victory is a significant one for the Fever. After a slow start to the season, they've shown resilience and are climbing the standings.

Clark's emergence as a star is a big part of the turnaround. Her well-rounded performance – points, rebounds, assists, and steals – makes her a matchup nightmare for opposing teams. The Indiana Fever are back on track, and with Caitlin Clark leading the charge, they'll be a force to be reckoned with in the WNBA playoff race.
